The Big Star Lake Association holds an annual Waterski Show. The show features the talented performers from the Grand River Show Skiers, part of the West Michigan Waterski Association. It features many tricks and skiing disciplines, including:

The is held at the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Point on the lake (thanks to our hosts, the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Camp!). The Show annually starts promptly at 7:30 p.m. You are invited to come by boat or by land, with car and boat parking at the Oddfellow and Rebekah Camp. Because of the show location and tow-boat patterns, the best viewing is on land. Boats may experience sun glare as the show progresses, so beach the boat on the west shore at the camp and come on shore, or drive please, if you are able. Please note: no alcohol is permitted on camp property!

History:
The first ski show held in 1997 was a tremendous success, attended by well over 1000 people. Even larger crowds have been coming each year since. Thanks to the Lake Township Fire Department and the Lake County Sheriff for supporting the event with their staffs and equipment.[Back to BSL Home]
